About Amarnath Yatra

The Amarnath Yatra is one of the most revered pilgrimages for Hindus, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located in the scenic Kashmir Valley, the Amarnath Cave houses a naturally formed ice lingam, which is believed to be a divine manifestation of Lord Shiva. The pilgrimage is a test of faith, devotion, and endurance, as it involves trekking through challenging terrains to reach the holy cave at an altitude of 12,756 feet.

Every year, thousands of devotees undertake this sacred journey, seeking spiritual fulfillment and blessings from Lord Shiva. The yatra is managed by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), ensuring safety, medical assistance, and facilities for pilgrims.
