Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 :   Delhi to Dehradun

Travelling by AC bus (Distance 260 Kms/ Duration 6 hours)

  • You will arrive in Delhi in the morning.

  • Then you are free to roam around and explore the city by yourself.

  • We will then leave for Dehradun at night, which is approximately 260 km away from Delhi and takes about 6 hours to reach.


Day 2 :   Dehradun to Sankri

Drive from Dehradun to Sankri (210 Kms)

  • Arrive in Dehradun at 6:00 am. Your journey will begin in Dehradun, the state capital of Uttarakhand.

  • The trip will report for Sankri via Mussoorie after the proxy greeting.

  • The initial step of the Kedarkantha trek's mesmerising location would take at least 10 hours to reach.

  • The beautiful Yamuna may be seen along the sides of the walkway leading to Sankri.

  • The most picturesque area in the state of Uttarakhand, the Uttarkashi District, is where Sankri is located.

  • The location of Sankri is 22 kilometres away from the trekking destination.

  • You will be drawn to the stunning Himalayan range, which will heighten your enthusiasm for hiking.

Day 3 :   Sankri to Juda Ka Talab

Trek from Sankri ( 4 Kms/ 4-5 Hours)

  • You'll awaken to a stunning view of snow-capped peaks on the horizon as the light peeps over the mountains, painting Sankri with warm hues.

  • You'll start your trip to Juda Ka Talab after breakfast.

  • You pass through thick pine forests on this portion of the tour, where you can see some of the native flora and fauna.

  • The hike lasts about 4-5 hours and covers a distance of about 4-5 kilometres.

  • At a height of 2800 metres above sea level, Juda Ka Talab is a frozen water stream.

  • When you finally reach Juda Ka Talab, you'll be standing by a serene, sparkling lake while being encircled by the impressive Himalayas.

  • It's the kind of location where you can pitch your tent, take a moment to breathe deeply, and allow the unadulterated Himalayan beauty to wash over you, reminding you of the wonder of the mountains.

Day 4 :   Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp

Trek through maple forests ( 5 Kms / 5 Hours)

  • Trek from Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp, which is located at an elevation of 11,250ft and is approximately 4 km away.

  • Your journey will be more memorable because to the stunning Iceland and the alluring pine and maple trees.

  • You are going to see a beautiful view. Your interest in the walk will increase due to the beautiful peaks that can be observed along the way and the fauna.

  • The area contains a lot of farmland, and the river and lakes create stunning beauty for both locals and visitors alike. 

  • You will spend the night at the Kedarkantha base camp.


Day 5 :   Base Camp to Kedarkantha Peak to Juda

Base Camp to Peak ( 10 Kms / 7 Hours)

  • Trek from the base camp to Kedarkantha Peak, which is 6 km away and takes approximately 7 hours.

  • This day of the Kedarkantha trip is going to be really frenetic because you'll be traversing a lengthy but easy track.'

  • Enjoy and take in the stunning sunrise while perched atop Kedarkantha Peak. Capture the glances of the surrounding mountains and valleys to see the moment and live your life to the fullest.

  • At the top of the peak, you can see the Swargrohini, Gangotri, Kalanaag, Yamunotri, & Bandarpooch mountain ranges. Spend the night at Juda Ka Talab.

Day 6 :   Juda to Sankri

Trek from the lushy green forest to Sankri ( 3 Kms / 2 Hours)

  • Trek 3 km from Juda to Sankri in 2 hours and descend back to the base camp by afternoon for lunch.

  • Wander about the neighbourhood later in the evening to gather more memories of this exciting journey.

  • The experience leaves a deep impression on your heart and soul, and as you return to Sankri, you carry the spirit of the Himalayas with you.

  • Spend the night at Sankri.


Day 7 :   Sankri to Dehradun

Driving from Sankri to Dehradun ( 193 Kms Drive/ 10 Hours)

  • A delicious and wholesome breakfast will be provided to you before heading towards Dehradun .

  • The drive goes through stunning pine trees, which makes your trekking experience worthwhile.

  • It will take approximately 10 hours to reach Dehradun.

  • Spend the night in Dehradun and explore the city b yourself.


Day 8 :   Dehradun to Delhi

Drive from Dehradun to Delhi (250 km drive / 6 Hours)

  • Take a bus from Dehradun to Delhi in the morning.

  • After reaching Delhi in the afternoon, you are free to roam and explore the city for sometime.

How To Reach

Dehradun,Uttarakhand

By Air:Jolly Grant Airport(DED) is 22 KM southeast of Dehradun and is well connected domestically and has regular flights from major cities. Then you may take a taxi to reach anywhere in the city.

By Road:Dehradun is well-connected to the major destinations in India via NH 72. Regular buses ply from ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi to Dehradun.

By Train:Dehradun Terminal Railway Station(DDN) serves the city excellently connecting it with cities like- Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kolkata, etc. Then you may hire a taxi or an autorickshaw.
